Vice presidential candidate Mike Pence has attempted to bring some clarity to Donald Trump's immigration policy, should he be elected President of the United States.
Speaking on NBC's "Meet the Press", he said: "We're going to build a wall. We're going to enforce the laws of this country. We're going to end catch and release. We are going to do all of the things that politicians from both political parties have been talking about for more than a generation."
"There is going to be no amnesty and no path no legalisation. If people want to get "legalised" or want to get right under the colour of the law - they need to leave the country."
All of this will be done "under a new and reformed immigration programme," he added.
