The Irish camp are in confident mood ahead of tomorrow night's final European Championship quualifier, knowing that they've got a place in the play-offs secured.
However, Shane Long insists that automatic qualification is the only thing on the team's mind.
"It's always nice to know going into the game that we've got the play-offs," he said "It's a positive sign that we've put ourselves in this position.
"You don't know who you can get in the play-offs, it could be a tough game and expecially over two legs. We'll be using this game tomorrow as a play-off."
Long, who's 66th minute goal guided the Republic of Ireland to a historic win over Germany, appeared before the media today with Martin O'Neill and the 63-year-old is also taking a positive approach to tomorrow'sfixture.
"The mood is very, very good following the result" said O'Neill.
"If you've just beaten the world champions and you're coming into the game on a downer then I don't think you should be in the game."
Poland will be missing Arkadiusz Milik and the Irish boss acknowledged that despite his absence, Poland have a big enough talent pool to help them get by.
"[Milik] missing is a huge blow to Poland. He's been exceptional throughout the tournament. But, I don't think they'll be short of ready-made replacements in that sense."
O'Neill was quick to address the issue of Robert Lewandowski, who continued his amazing goalscoring form against Scotland when he scored a last minute equalliser to maintain their hopes of automatic qualification.
"Outside the very best players playing in the world, Messi and Ronaldo, Lewandowski is in a bracket of players who you would say who aren't very far behind. He's been brilliant.
"When you have someone there who you can rely on and who's been exceptional, then they'll cause you plenty of problems."
Ireland take on Poland in the National Stadium in Warsaw on Sunday at 7.45pm.
