A chilly, but sunny start in many places, with any early morning mist or patchy fog clearing quickly, to give a dry day with pleasant spells of sunshine.
A few showers may develop in parts of the northeast or east this afternoon.
Warm inland this afternoon with highest temperatures of 19 to 22 degrees Celsius and winds will be light.
But moderate sea breezes will develop in some coastal areas with temperatures of 17 or 18 degrees Celsius.
Dry and clear at first but cloud thickening in western and northern areas overnight and winds backing south to southwest.
Lows of 8 to 12 degrees Celsius.
