Labour's Brendan Howlin has not ruled out legal action in the Longford-Westmeath count.
Counting in order to fill the last two Dáil seats in the country has still to resume, with the result of a recount still awaited.
Longford-Westmeath is the last constituency where the result has yet to be decided five days after we went to the polls.
It is understood just a handful of votes separate outgoing TDs James Bannon (Fine Gael) and Willie Penrose (Labour).

It is believed that if Mr Bannon is eliminated when the result is announced, his transfers will elect Willie Penrose - although Sinn Féin's Paul Hogan is also still in the race.

156 out of 158 Dáil seats have currently been filled.
It breaks down as 49 for Fine Gael, 44 for Fianna Fáil and 23 for Sinn Féin.
There are six seats apiece for Labour and People Before Profit / Anti Austerity Alliance, while there are three seats for the Social Democrats and two for the Green Party.
Finally, 23 Independents have been elected, including six for the Independent Alliance.
