Ulster will be without Ruan Pienaar for this weekend's Pro 12 derby against Munster.

The scrum-half has yet to play for Ulster this season after suffering a knee ligament injury while playing for South Africa against New Zealand in September.

Ulster say that the 30-year-old will have to wait a little longer to make his return, but he could still be fit to face the Scarlets on December 6th.

Ulster also lost fly half Paddy Jackson to injury this week, while Ireland flanker Chris Henry has undergone surgery on a heart wall defect.
