Gardaí have released two women who were being questioned in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager in Dublin.

Teenager Reece Cullen was stabbed in the heart at Kilclare Crescent in Tallaght on 5th January, 2017.

The women, both in their 30s, were arrested in the Tallaght area at around 7am yesterday morning and were released yesterday evening.

They were released with charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
