Two people are appearing in court this morning in connection with a seizure if drugs valued at approximately €470,000.

The drugs were seized yesterday following a number of searches in the Clondalkin area yesterday, 25-05-2017.

The searches were undertaken as part of on-going operation targeting the sale and supply of illegal drugs in west Dublin.

Gardaí said the discovery included cannabis herb, a small amount of cannabis resin, a small amount of cocaine and a quantity of cash.

Three people – a man in his 30s, a man in his 20s and a woman in her 20s – were arrested following the seizure.

Gardaí said the man in his 20s was released last night and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

The second man and woman were charged with drugs offences and are appearing at Blanchardstown District Court this morning.
