Two men have appeared in court in Co Carlow charged in connection with the death of a Latvian man in Tullow on Tuesday. The men were both charged with assault causing harm.
They have been remanded in custody to appear in court again next week.
Liam Power (52) of no fixed abode and Latvian national Dzintris Zakcalausks (31) of 54 Barrow Vale in Carlow town both appeared at Carlow District Court this morning.
They were charged in connection with the death of Gints Intembergs in Graigowen estate in Tullow on Tuesday morning.
Both have been charged with assault causing harm and granted free legal aid by Judge Eamon O'Brien.
Both men have been remanded to Cloverhill Prison and will appear in court again on Wednesday September 24th.
