Two men are due in court this morning charged in connection with money laundering offences.

The charges stem from the seizure of approximately €200,000 in cash last year by gardaí investigating organised crime in Dublin.

Gardaí attached to the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau found the cash after stopping and searching a vehicle near the Fonthill Road in Dublin 22 on Saturday 27th August 2016.

Gardaí said the cash was concealed in the car.

Two men aged 31 and 40-years-old are scheduled to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
