Two men have been arrested after a shot was fired at a house on the northside of Dublin.
Gardaí say a firearm was discharged at an upstairs bedroom window of the house on Inverness Road in Fairview.
It happened at around 11.30pm last night, causing the window to smash.
Four people were in the house at the time, but no-one was injured.
Two men, in their 20s and 30s, were arrested in Donabate in a follow-up operation shortly afterwards.
The pair are currently being detained at Swords and Clontarf garda stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and investigations are ongoing.
