A man is dead and his brother is in hospital following an early morning shooting in the parking lot of a New Jersey mall on Black Friday.

According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the incident occurred around 1am outside a Macy’s department store at the Hamilton Mall.

Officers arrived at the scene to find a 20-year-old man from Atlantic City, who had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim’s 26-years-old brother suffered a gunshot wound to his leg and is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Police have not identified a suspect.

Nevada

Another man died following a dispute in the parking lot of a Nevada Walmart on Thanksgiving night. 

Lt. Scott Shaw of the Reno Police Department told KOLO that shortly after 6 pm Thursday, two drivers got into an argument apparently over a parking spot. According to Fox 6, both parties involved in the argument were armed and a 33-year-old man was shot dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made, the outlet reported.

Tennessee

Three suspects were arrested after shots were fired during an incident at Wolfchase Galleria Mall in Memphis, Tennessee.

Police spokesman Louis Brownlee said in an email Friday morning that an off-duty officer responded to a report of gunfire in the mall’s parking lot at 11:19 p.m. Thursday.

In addition to many vehicles being hit by the shots, a male was also struck. The man was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.

Officers have three suspects in custody. No charges have been filed at this time, and the motive of the shooting is unknown.

Kentucky

Two men were arrested Thursday night after getting into a physical altercation and causing a scare at a Kentucky mall during Black Friday sales, police say.

According to authorities, police responded to Belk in the Somerset Mall to aid deputies on site helping with the holiday shopping events.

One of the men was armed - however, police say the gun was not discharged during the dispute. Both men were arrested by authorities.
