Becoming cloudy for a time over some southern and eastern parts of the country today, with the odd light shower possible, but sunny spells will prevail elsewhere.
Skies will clear in most places this evening, delivering a fine end to the day for the bulk of the country.
Highs of 14 to 17 degrees with highest values in northern and western counties. Winds will be moderate to fresh east or northeast.
Largely clear skies at first tonight, apart from cloudy periods in southwest Munster.
Cloud amounts will generally increase overnight, but there will be long clear periods too, especially across the north and west.
A few spots of drizzle are possible near southern coastal fringes. Lows of 5 to 8 degrees in moderate to fresh easterly breezes.
