Three men in their 30s have been charged in connection with the seizure of cocaine and heroin in Cork.
The accused are due to appear before a special sitting of Cork District Court this afternoon at 1pm.
They were arrested on Thursday after gardaí discovered an estimated €119,000 worth of drugs in two separate locations as part of an intelligence-led operation.
Two ounces of heroin valued at around €8,000 were found in cars in the Togher area of the city, leading to the arrest of two men, aged 33 and 35.
A 35-year-old man was later detained after a follow-up search of a property in Blarney.
Heroin with an estimated value of €110,000 and around €1,000 worth of cocaine were found in the building.
All three remain in custody under section two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996, as amended.
