Three men have been arrested in Cork, after heroin was seized by gardaí.
It was part of an ongoing intelligence-led operation conducted by the Cork City Divisional Drug Unit into drug dealing activities in the Cork area.
Two men, aged 33 and 35, were stopped and searched in Togher.
During the search, approximately two ounces of heroin with an estimated street value of €8,000 were seized.
Both men were taken to Togher garda station where they are being detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
During a follow-up search of a property in Blarney, gardaí discovered 3/4 of a kilo of heroin - with an approximate worth of €110,000 - and a quantity of cocaineworth €1,000 was also seized.
Another man (35) was arrested and is being detained at Gurranabraher garda station, also under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
