Organisers claim more than 300,000 people turned out for a march in New York yesterday, marking the largest climate change rally in history.
The rally was part of a global day of action in over 150 countries which saw about a thousand people take to the streets in Dublin.
Activists want world leaders to agree to cut emissions at the summit which gets underway on Tuesday in New York.
