Apartments in Dublin have seen the biggest growth, rising by more than a quarter.

The growth is slower outside of Dublin, where prices are up by just over 8% in the last year.

However, the CSO points out "residential property prices in Dublin are 37.8% lower than at their highest level in February 2007", increasing to 42.5% for the rest of the country.
