There is good news for both Munster and Ireland with Keith Earls likely to return before the end of January.
Earls underwent knee surgery on September 30th, with the belief that he would likely miss the Champions Cup pool stages and the Six Nations as a result.
However, Munster assistant Ian Costello says Earls recovery is going ahead of schedule and could return to training in early January.

That would put Earls in contention to for the province's Pool 1 meetings with Saracens and Sale as well as Ireland's Six Nations campaign.
