A boat carrying 150 people collided with a concrete barrier, which caused the vessel to capsize, and there are local reports of at least 13 people being killed as a result.
People on board the boat were taking part in a Muslim religious trip in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district on Sunday afternoon when the incident took place.
Of the 13 dead, local police told the Bangkok Post that they were six men, six women and one child.
Police Maj. Thanat Saengaroon told CNN that there are still about 10 divers looking for the passengers currently declared missing.
