It will be cold, bright and blustery with sunny spells and scattered showers.
The showers will be mostly over western parts of Ulster, Connacht and Munster and some Leinster coasts.
Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with fresh, gusty north to northeasterly breezes, stronger near coasts.
Tonight will be cold and mainly dry as showers become isolated.
A sharp frost will develop in many areas as temperatures fall to between -2 and +2 degrees.
