Mostly dry this morning with some sunny spells and just a few isolated showers. Rain will develop in the southwest around lunchtime and will spread through Munster and much of south and west Connacht during the late afternoon and evening.
The rain will then extend to the rest of the country early tonight.
Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees. Winds will be light, variable at first but will freshen from the south or southeast later this afternoon.
Cloudy and wet overnight with outbreaks of rain, locally heavy in nature and with the risk of thunder. Mist and fog forming along some coasts and hills.
Minimum temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in fresh, southerly winds.
