Cool this Easter Sunday, with a mix of bright or sunny spells and heavy showers of rain and hail, some of them prolonged in places, with a risk of thundery downpours. Windy in most areas, especially in Munster and much of Leinster, with fresh to strong southerly winds, veering southwesterly, but winds mostly moderate in the north and northwest. Maximum temperatures just 7 to 10 Celsius.
Tonight, showers will become confined mainly to western and northern coasts and most areas will become dry, with clear intervals. Winds will slacken and it will be a very cold night, with some grass frost. Patches of jest and fog also. Minimum temperatures minus 1 to plus 2 Celsius.
There are no weather warnings in place.
