After a wet start good dry periods will develop in most places but further rain will return at times to the north and northwest.
Otherwise it will become generally dry except for some patchy mist and drizzle near exposed coasts and around higher ground. A few brighter spells will develop inland.
It will be a milder day with highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees Celsius, with the southwest breeze easing for a time but freshening later.
It will be mild but wet and windy tonight with the heavy rain clearing from the west towards morning. Lowest temperatures will reach eight to 10 degrees Celsius.
