Today will be mostly dry and bright with good sunny spells.
It will remain rather cloudy, however, across west Munster and south Connacht with a few spots of light rain or drizzle there. it will feel chilly, with afternoon highs of 5 to 8 degrees, but 9 or 10 degrees near the south coast in light to moderate east to southeast breezes.
Tonight will be cold and dry over the northern half of the country with some clear spells, and lowest temperatures of 0 to +3 degrees with some patchy frost forming. It will be milder across Munster and south Leinster, however, with lows of 4 to 8 degrees there. Mist and patchy drizzle will develop about southern coasts later in the night. Easterly breezes will be mainly light, but moderate near east and south coasts.
