Storm Ewan bought strong winds and rain to Ireland over the weekend, and he is set to return on Tuesday.
A weak area of low pressure will pass over the UK tomorrow, close to Ireland, bringing strong winds and rain.
Tuesday morning will see outbreaks of rain and sleet extending south-eastwards, Met Éireann says.
This will be followed by showers during the afternoon.
The showers will merge into longer spells of rain at times in Ulster and north Connacht, with the driest and brightest weather expected across Munster.
It will also be blustery with fresh to strong and gusty west to northwest winds.
Top temperatures could hit of seven to nine degrees, but feeling colder due to the wind chill.

While Tuesday night will be cold with some rain or showers for a time, but becoming mainly dry.
However, persistent rain will develop in the south-west overnight and lowest temperatures of -1.
The outlook for later in the week is also unsettled - on Wednesday, rain will gradually spread north-eastwards, falling as sleet on high ground and reaching northern areas towards evening.
Rain and sleet will continue on Wednesday night.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy with rain or showers in most areas at times.
The rain may become persistent on the south coast in the evening. Frost will also develop, mainly over the northern half of the country, on Thursday night.
And Friday will bring further spells of rain or showers, heaviest in Munster and Leinster.
