The head coach of South Korea's national swimming team has resigned following allegations that two male swimmers secretly installed a spy camera in the dressing room of female squad members at a training facility in 2013.

Police in Seoul are said to be investigating two former swimmers from the national team over the allegations. It's understood that one of the suspects has admitted to installing a camera at the national training facility in central south Seoul, and later discarding it after the footage was taken. The other swimmer under investigation has denied any involvement, according to an official of the Korean Olympic Committee.

Police have seized the laptop of the swimmer who confessed, to check whether the footage was leaked to the internet.
