A software management firm is to create 100 new jobs in north Dublin.

The positions are part of a €16m expansion plan by SoftwareONE over the next three years.

Established in 1985 and globally headquartered in Switzerland, the firm has a presence in over 80 countries with more than 25,000 clients and 3,000 employees.

Software One first entered Ireland in 2011, opening an office in Mahon, Co. Cork.

It is now expanding with a new office in Blanchardstown, where the majority of the new positions will be based.

It is inviting applications for a wide variety of roles - including technical positions such as senior scrum masters, full stack developers, front end developers, test engineers and user experience experts.

It is also looking for professionals in HR, finance, sales and administration.

Making the announcement, Jobs Minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor said: "We are all aware that cloud computing is a huge growth area and this company is at the cutting edge of this exciting development.

"SoftwareONE's expansion builds on our success in developing a thriving software sector in Ireland over recent years following our investment in developing appropriate skills."

SoftwareONE's Graham Quinn added: "We’re delighted to be in a position to expand our Irish operations and I would like to thank the team in IDA Ireland for their ongoing support.

"I am very much looking forward to expanding our talented team and to continuing our global growth strategy."
