Veteran Sky News journalist Kay Burley has been caught on live TV calling somebody off screen a ‘knob’.
Burley, who has worked for the cable news channel since 1988, was picked up off camera making the unfavourable comments towards a ‘Yes’-campaigner while she was reporting on the referendum in Aberdeen.
Afterwards, Burley took to Twitter to explain her remark, saying that a passerby had tried to hit her cameraman with a stick.
Soz for poor language - never alone with a microphone! Challenging environment ;-)

All in all, Burley doesn't seem too phased by her faux pas.
Scotland goes to the polls tomorrow, with the decision expected to be a close call.
