The Police Service of Northern Ireland is investigating an alleged assault on a Sinn Féin Assembly Member in Belfast city centre last night.
A 21-year-old man has reportedly been arrested in connection with the incident and is being questioned by PSNI officers.
Sinn Féin MLA for North Belfast, Gerry Kelly has confirmed that he made a complaint to the PSNI.

It is understood Mr. Kelly suffered facial injuries in the alleged attack in the city's Cathedral Quarter.
The incident occurred on Belfast’s Gordon Street at around 23:30 last night.
