The shortlist has been announced for the IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2017.
The awards are now in their 11th year, and organisers say they experienced the "largest number ever" of entries.
Newstalk is a media partner for this year's awards, with the awards sponsored by Samsung, Kuehne + Nagel, Grant Thornton, The Loop and No 7.
Dozens of businesswomen have been nominated across nine categories.
The overall IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year award, meanwhile, is not open for nominations - the winner will instead be chosen from nominations from the other categories or on the judges' own recommendations.
Clodagh Edwards, CEO of Image Publications, explained: "Compiling the shortlist this year was a huge challenge. With over 443 individual entries, our largest number ever, competition proved stronger than ever for places. It took a lot of deliberation, and the women who made this shortlist are truly inspirational."
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on November 20th at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin.
