The body of a fisherman has been recovered in the Irish sea.
He was on board a fishing vessel which sank near Skerries yesterday afternoon, sparking a major search and rescue operation.
One man was rescued yesterday and is recovering in hospital.
The deceased has been brought ashore to Skerries harbour and will undergo a post mortem examination.
The men were fishing for razor clams and were around 100 metres from the harbour when the trawler got into difficulty.
A member of the public raised the alarm, when they saw the boat capsize.
RNLI lifeboats from Skerries, Howth and Clogherhead were involved with the search, along with local fishermen.
