The chief executive of the Scottish FA is concerned by the admission from his Republic of Ireland counterpart John Delaney that he sang a pro-Republican song.
The SFA's been trying to deal with sectarianism over the years and the two national teams will meet in Dublin in June in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
Stewart Regan's suggested to Sky Sports News what Delaney did is unhelpful.
"Our clubs are doing a lot of work. We work with a lot of agencies with Show Racism The Red Card being a key partner of ours. We try to keep a focus on that so anything that gets in the way of that is clearly a concern," said Regan.
Scotland beat the Boys in Green 1 - 0 at Celtic Park this month in a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier for both sides.
