Met Éireann has issued a rainfall warning for five counties.

The level yellow alert is in place Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.

Between 30 to 50mm of rainfall are forecast for Thursday into Friday.

The forecaster also says some high totals will lead to spot flooding.

The warning is in place until Friday morning.
