The controversial president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, has compared himself to Hitler and wants to slaughter all the country's drug addicts like the Nazi's killed the jews.
Addressing his nation earlier today from Davao City, he said: "Hitler massacred three million Jews. Now, there are three million drug addicts ... I'd be happy to slaughter them."
"At least if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have ... You know my victims, I would like to be, all criminals, to finish the problem of my country and save the next generation from perdition," he added.

He has come under international pressure for his tough line on dealing with the country's drug epidemic and so far more then 3,000 people have been killed since he took office on 30th June.
He declared a "war on drugs" as a cornerstone of his election campaign and has kept his promise since his election victory.
In response, he has criticised Europeans for their handling of the current refugee crises and highlighted the shootings of black people in the United States.
