Post-mortems will be carried out on the remains of a father an son found in a Dublin stream yesterday.

Their deaths have been described as a 'tragic accident'.

The 30-year-old man and his 3-year-old boy were discovered by a member of the public at the back of Ashington Green housing estate in Ashtown at around 3pm yesterday.

Gardaí say at this stage it appears they fell into the water and died after visiting relatives and collecting Easter eggs in the area.

These local people say its not the first time something a similar tragedy has occurred int he same place:
