Despite taking an incredible number of shots, the Real Madrid man has not yet found the back of the net at this tournament.
Cristiano Ronaldo's Euro 2016 campaign has not been going to plan so far, as his Portugal side have failed to register a win.
It's not for the want of trying, however, as he's taken more shots than nine entire teams in the competition to date without finding the back of the net.
While he did have a goal ruled out for offside, perhaps his best chance to open his account came against Austria, when he stepped up to take a penalty but struck it against the post.
Manager Fernando Santos has stated that the miss has been worrying the Real Madrid superstar, and that "Cristiano hasn’t been able to sleep. On Sunday, I was one of the first up and he was already awake. He’s a winner and his experience will help him bounce back. If there is a penalty in the next game, Cristiano Ronaldo will take it and he will score."
Santos also stated that he wasn't worried about that, however, as he fully expects him to bounce back from the miss.
"Cristiano's big weapon is that he reacts strongly in adversity," said Santos. "Most of these questions about goals, it's always like this. There was talk about it this year, and then Cristiano scored five goals in a match. He'll score in the next game for sure."
His team-mates have said they're not worried about the drought, however, stating that he always shows professionalism in every game and that "we know he deserves more than he got from the two games we've had."
