It has 79 cash registers, 85 fitting rooms and a 'showroom' - where groups of friends can try clothes on together.

Customers also have access to free wi-fi as well as four recharge areas.

Primark in Königstraße Stuttgart is the company's seventh to open in six weeks - with new stores opened in Oxford, Rotherham and Charlton, Algarve, Bielefeld and Münster.

The next stores to open in 2018 are Grimsby and Staines in Britain, Le Havre and Metz in France and Antwerp, Belgium.

Primark, which operates as Penneys in the Republic of Ireland, has 350 stores in 11 countries: Ireland, the UK, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Italy and the US.

The company, which opened its first store in Dublin in 1969, has more than 73,000 employees.
