The hospital treating Brazilian football legend Pele says his condition is improving.

He is currently receiving dialysis treatment for a urinary infection.

Pele has used Twitter to reassure fans he's "doing fine".

I was not put into intensive care today, I was simply relocated to a special room within the hospital for privacy purposes only.

There had been concerns yesterday when he was reported to have been moved to a "special care" unit.

But his spokesperson confirmed that Pele had been moved to a separate part of the hospital for privacy reasons rather than over any health concerns.
