George Byrne joins Tom in studio tonight to review Inherent Vice and Son of a Gun, two much-anticipated movies that will be in the cinemas from tomorrow. Director Paul Thomas Anderson returns with Inherent Vice, starring Joaquin Phoenix as a private investigator caught up in a complex series of vengeful plots. Son of a Gun is an Australian prison thriller, with Ewan McGregor and Alicia Vikander in starring roles. This is the third film in three weeks to feature Swedish sensation Alicia Vikander. George gave great reviews to the last two but what will he make of this one?

Tom will be talking to Greg Dulli of American indie stalwarts Afghan Whigs, ahead of their gig at Dublin's Academy this Monday 2nd February. Dulli burst onto the scene as the Whigs' frontman and chief lyricist, signing to Seattle's Sub Pop Records alongside Nirvana, Mudhoney and Soundgarden. Having moved on to several major labels, their latest album 'Do to the Beast' marks their return to Sub Pop and is their first since they reformed in 2012.

Meanwhile, Oisin Davis, of Great Irish Beverages fame, pops by to make a ginger and whiskey cocktail.

Finally, Van Morrison is playing Live at the Marquee in Cork this July the 15th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 9am but we have a pair to give away to a very lucky listener so you can beat the rush.

Tune in from 10 pm.
