A number of passengers have fallen ill during an Emirates flight from Dubai to New York.
The flight landed at New York's JFK Airport at around 9am local time.
However, it was reported that the plane had been 'quarantined' away from the terminal after landing due to a number of passengers falling ill - although it was later confirmed passengers are being allowed leave the plane.
Police and officials from the Centers for Disease Control were deployed to the scene, with photos also showing several ambulances in the area.
A spokesperson for the mayor of New York said more than 520 people are on board the plane.
The spokesperson added that the incident was possibly an outbreak of flu, as there is an outbreak in Mecca where a number of people on board had travelled from.
10 sick people off the plane and heading to Jamaica Hospital. Health officials taking others off one by one checking for symptoms. About 40 cleared and going to customs. A few others showing symptoms and being held for treatment and possible transport to hospital. https://t.co/6X0445ivXy

The airline put the number of sick people at 10, after local media in New York claimed that around 100 people had fallen ill.
In a statement, the airline said: "Emirates can confirm that about 10 passengers on EK203 from Dubai to New York were taken ill.
"On arrival, as a precaution, they were attended to by local health authorities. All others will disembark shortly. The safety & care of our customers is our first priority."
Photos broadcast on local TV stations appeared to show some passengers leaving the plane, with a large number of emergency officers at the scene.
One of the passengers on board tweeted images showing passengers having their temperature taken as they disembarked:
