The Arts Council has published the full list of nominees for the inaugural Laureate for Irish Fiction.
34 Irish writers have made the list from over 100 nominations from libraries, book clubs, arts organisations and book shops.
Authors included on the list include Roddy Doyle, Anne Enright, Jennifer Johnston and John Banville.
The first Laureate for Irish Fiction will be announced in January.
