New figures show 2,131 working days have been lost to industrial disputes in the third quarter of the year.
The Central Statistics Office (CSO) says this was due to three disputes involving 876 workers.
The disputes relate to the Industry, Construction and Human health and social work sectors.
However the CSO says data for the construction dispute are estimated "and as such should be treated with caution."
The CSO says it also has been unable to establish the number of firms involved in this dispute.
The numbers are a drop for the same period in 2016.
Last year there were three disputes for the same period, which saw 14,270 days lost.
