A rather cloudy start to Monday with patchy outbreaks of rain.
Brightening up across most areas though, as a clearance to sunshine and isolated showers extends from the northwest.
However it may remain cloudy in the southeast throughout. Highest temperatures will range a seasonal 8 to 11 degrees, in light southerly breezes veering northwesterly with the clearance (best values across west and southwest counties).
Very cold and mostly clear tonight, with a sharp to severe frost away from Atlantic coasts.
Lowest temperatures 0 to - 4 degrees, in mostly light southwest breezes.
