Today will be mostly cloudy, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle at first, mainly in parts of the north midlands, east and north, where it will be persistent and locally heavy, clearing gradually northwards, but lingering on in Ulster into the afternoon.
Becoming mostly dry elsewhere, with just a few scattered showers and some bright spells will develop later, mainly in western areas.
It will be mild and humid. Maximum temperatures of 16 to 19 Celsius generally, but a little cooler on northern coasts. Winds light and variable.
Tonight will be mainly dry at first, with clear spells, but outbreaks of rain and drizzle will develop in Atlantic coastal areas, extending gradually eastwards, but becoming very patchy.
Minimum temperatures 9 to 11 Celsius, in mostly light southwesterly breezes.
