Today will be very warm and humid. Many areas will be dry, with some hazy sunshine, but very heavy and thundery downpours will develop in some parts this afternoon and evening, with parts of north Leinster, central and west Ulster and parts of east Connacht most at risk.
Patches of mist and sea fog possible also, mainly along some southern and eastern coasts. Maximum temperatures 17 to 24 Celsius, in mostly light southeasterly or variable breezes.
Tonight will be very mild and humid, with some showery rain in places, heavy and possibly thundery for a time, mainly in parts of the north and northwest. Misty also, with fog patches.
Minimum temperatures 11 to 14 Celsius, in light southeasterly or variable breezes.
