Becoming generally dry during the day with some sunny spells developing, but staying misty in the east and south.
Continuing windy today and although quite chilly not as cold as over the weekend; highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in fresh to strong easterly winds.
Cloudy tonight with scattered outbreaks of rain over the southern half of the country and temperatures here not falling below 6 to 8 degrees.
Mainly dry elsewhere with clear spells and rather cold still with lows of 2 to 5 degrees.
