It will be cloudy at first today with light rain or drizzle, which will clear eastwards. Brighter weather will follow later this morning.
This afternoon, a band of showers will spread eastwards, mainly affecting west Munster, Connacht, Ulster and north Leinster.
Highest temperatures of 13C to 16C degrees with moderate south to southwest breezes.
Tonight will start off mainly dry with some clear spells. However, rain will develop in the southwest around midnight and will spread eastwards to all areas overnight along with fresh, gusty southwest winds.
Lowest temperatures of 7C to 10C degrees.
