Becoming dry in most places today, with some bright or brief sunny spells developing, but predominantly cloudy and dull, misty conditions will linger along parts of the south coast and in the southeast.

Tonight, a spell of heavy and locally thundery rain will move up from the south, spreading to most parts, but it will remain mostly dry in west and northwest coastal areas.
