A mostly cloudy start, with just a few sunny spells. There will be some patches of drizzle, mist and fog about.
A spell of persistent rain along the northwest coast, will push southeastwards across the country this morning and early this afternoon.
A clearance will follow from the northwest later this afternoon and evening.
It will be close and humid, with top temperatures 17 to 21 C. Fresh and gusty southerly winds will veer westerly in the afternoon and moderate.
It will be cool tonight, with clear spells in many areas. A few patches of mist and fog will form.
It will be dry apart from a few scattered showers near Atlantic coasts.
Lowest temperatures 8 to 11 C, in light variable or westerly breezes.
