Mobile phone provider Eir says its network is experiencing 'issues' with coverage.

It says some customers are experiencing problems with mobile coverage in various locations throughout the country.

"This is affecting customers when making calls", it adds.

The company says the matter is under investigation, and they hope to resolve it soon.

It also says that data services are not affected.
