Members of the Banking Inquiry are meeting again today to review the responses to their draft report.

Brian Cowen and David Drumm are among those who have been given the chance to have a say on sections concerning them.

Several emergency meetings were held at the start of the month after the first version of the report, written by civil servants, was not considered to be political enough.

Inquiry members Joe Higgins and Pearse Doherty earlier this month announced they would not sign off on the final report.

The suggested date for the final report is now January 27th.

Speaking to Breakfast this morning, Labour Senator and inquiry member Susan O'Keefe said, "we've had quite a number of submissions. We were receiving them right up until yesterday.

"They will vary between very small observations about things like spelling or a word here and there, to more material observations about perhaps the way somebody perceives their name to be used, or a piece of information to be used about them".

She adds that the group will go through all the submissions today, which will take a 'considerable part of the day'.
